The Au Pair House

That's it: 6, Sire Stakes Drive - the O'Connors' house.....quite beautiful, and overwhelming for me when I saw it for the first time - although, if you see a whole neighborhood full of about 100 houses just like this (in fact, there are like 15 different types you cn chosse from, show you some more pics of other houses later) it's not that unusual anymore. But ours is even one of the "schlichter" ones here...Nevertheless, don't you think such a house would be called a "Villa" if somebaody lived in it in Austria?

This is my room! It is at the right side right after you come in through the front door. Kath and Brad and the kids are all sleeping upstairs: my room is around the corner of the kitchen and there is a restroom opposite to it.

My bed and the place I'm always sitting and writing e-mails and blog-entries from! ;-)

and finally.......my super huge flat screen TV.................. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, I didn't expect a TV set in the room I'm staying in at all in fact.

And although you might think something else, I am hardly ever watching TV at all, I have only switched it on for like 5 times so far! But I have to admit it is really nice to watch something (and there is always something on when you have about 300 channels) in the evening, e.g. when Michaela comes over - that way, when Brad and Kathleen watch a movie in the family room, we can be on our own in my room.

the open kitchen with the dining table....as you can see everything's quite big and open....and the whole house is quite organized and tidy!

here you can see how wide everything is, again... if you walk through the whole house it proabably takes you some minutes! lol

...oh, and if you're wondering why there's nobody, I took the pics once after lunch time when the kids were napping and K and B weren't home. I just didn't want to look like a crazy picture fool running from room to room like that....lol

Okay, enough for today, gotta go to bed now, it's already past midnight and I've got to "work" again tomorrow, still have to think about how to entertain the kids until lunch and nap time... ;-)

I hope I'll soon be able to get back to e-mailing you all again....I'm so sorry for the delay, but there's wuite a lot going on here always...
