hi everyone...the last week I haven't really posted a lot about what was going on..... because there wasn't really anything going on in my life here! lol.... this time mainly due to a very very very bad sore throat I suffered from almost the whole week!!! I've never had this before - and I can tell you, it's terrible. Two days ago I felt like dying, really...everytime I swallowed my throat hurt so bad, and two days ago I also had a little fever...
The greatest thing is, however, that my funny host mother just said "Oh" when I told her about my condition! Then they just left me in my room for the next days without asking once if I'd need anything....hmm.....sounds strange to you too? I hope so... I really thought they are, at least in general, really nice people....but that was just so alienating!
Well, however, today, Saturday August 19, I feel quite well again, not perfect but, just the way you feel. So I hope this will be over tomorrow and I'll never be ill again my whole life.
Okay, so now you know why I didn't really update the blog lately...although there is still so much from last week wort to be written about! I finished the Washington D.C. entry, and next I will tell you about our funny NYC trip (which, in fact got me ill I suppose :-( )
